Saur - Model Aeroflux -Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) System
Aeroflux® is a dissolved air flotation (DAF) clarification process designed to effectively remove organic matter and algae from surface waters. Reservoir or river waters can carry high loads of organic matter and algal blooms. These affect raw water quality, causing turbidity, taste, odor, and filter clogging. They can be removed early in the clarification stage with Aeroflux.
Some waters, such as peatland water, have low suspended solids but high color and are difficult to treat by sedimentation. A more effective alternative is needed to ensure water clarity. Flotation handles these challenging cases efficiently.
Facilities often face space constraints. The process must be compact and limit the need for additional structures like sludge thickening and we offer a simple, compact, and effective solution
During algal blooms or frequent start-stop cycles, treatment must remain stable and reliable. Operators must maintain water quality with minimal intervention. High tolerance to variability is a major asset.
