Hanvy - Distributed Optical Fiber Temperature Sensing System (DTS)
Distributed optical fiber temperature sensing system is the most typical representative of optical fiber sensing technology and the most mature product currently used. It uses ordinary optical fiber as both measurement and transmission medium, which can provide continuous and uninterrupted temperature measurement, realize temperature monitoring at all points along the optical fiber, without the need for separate sensors, and reduce false alarm and false alarm rates.
Technical principles and indicators:
Measurement principle: Based on the inelastic scattering effect of light in optical fibers and the principle of optical time domain reflection, distributed temperature measurement and positioning are realized. In the spontaneous Raman scattered light of an optical fiber, the intensity of anti-Stokes light has a certain relationship with the external temperature. Therefore, by measuring the intensity of the anti-Stokes light and Stokes light and solving them, the temperature information at the scattering point can be obtained, and then the distributed temperature measurement of the temperature field where the entire optical fiber is located can be achieved.
DTS system function-The biggest advantage of DTS is the continuous temperature monitoring along the distribution of optical fiber and any temperature point alarm:
- Temperature distribution along the way: The biggest advantage of the DTS system is that the measured temperature is distributed along the length of the fiber, continuously monitors the signal, alarms at any temperature point, and instantly displays the temperature change at every lm point in the detection range of each loop fiber.
- Accuracy: DTS temperature accuracy can reach 1 degree. The laser emitting device in the terminal will emit tens of thousands of light pulses per second, and output the average value of the sampling temperature to the display system, basically eliminating the error.
- Flexibility: Multiple fixed temperature alarms can be set, and each control zone can set different alarm temperatures or temperature rise rates according to the user`s operating requirements or operating experience. The alarm control area is programmable and can be designed according to user requirements, which can be tailored to environmental changes The situation sets different alarm control areas.
