History

Seascape is founded by Martijn Juijn and active in the Netherlands since 1992. It was his father Tom Juijn who interested him in the underwater world. Tom started as a royal Dutch navy diver and later worked as a diving instructor and as a salvage master for Smit Tak.Martijn learned as a young boy the first steps of diving! He wanted to be able to bring the underwater world to the surface so he developed body’s for his camera’s and even a underwater scooter! The interest for finding solutions for every problem is a continuous thread in his life and the basis of the development of Seascape. During his study, at the university of Delft maritime engineering, Martijn improved his knowledge. When the first ROV were introduced early ’90 he developed a great interest in the possibilities of ROV’s.

After his study he started as a commercial diver and travelled around the world diving in diverse conditions and circumstances. From salvage work to surveying to special assignments he always was looking for improvements of the available equipment to finish the job quicker better and saver.

All these experiences is used to developed the company into an all- round maritime company with state of the art subsea technology equipment! The basis of Seascape is located in a modern facility where equipment can be build tested and serviced. With 10 specialists in electronics, diving equipment, offshore and underwater civil construction equipment.

Through expertise in different fields, we can offer you smart integration and communication of systems. As a result, you don’t need to communicate with various suppliers.

Development process

With seascape development process we deliver a high level of creativity and quality for custom made subsea solutions. We manage the projects within the limits of planning and budget.

Ideation Phase : Our goal is always to develop a custom made subsea solution for the user so the product is easy to control and interact with. In consultation with you as a customer, we set the requirements and wishes for the project. With years of experience in subsea and offshore markets, we always try to develop an realistic innovative concept.
Design : During the design process the concept will be engineered, into a production worthy product. The engineering is done with a high level of detail and knowledge. The different in-house expertise makes it possible to develop the concept into a manufacturable product. We have for example our own development department for electronics, so we can integrate faster and easier interaction of electronic products. But also 3D modelling, advanced simulation tools and software design.
Production :With our years of experience and in house expertise we deliver high quality products. Together with our partners we offer you a wide range of products for a highly competitive price.
Testing : All products and projects are thoroughly tested according our protocols. Our quality control system ensures a continuous quality of our product range. The products or project are subjected to various tests and calibrated. For pressure testing, we have our own hydrostatic pressure facility which is also for rend to third parties.
Commissioning : Following the testing and delivery of the equipment. Seascape offers the service to commission the equipment and ensure that it operates and performs as anticipated.
