Dizayn - Sea Discharge Pipes
The Sea Discharge Pipes are the products which are produced from Polyethylene raw material within the Polyolefin group. It is produced with spiral production method starting from Ø500 mm diameter to Ø3000 mm diameter. By the virtue of the high chemical resistance of polyethylene; it can give service for 50 years without affecting from the sea salts.
The treatment facilities pre-refine the waste water. Pre-refinement is to catch the solid wastes which can be caught and precipitated within the water. The latter stage of this refinement is the biological refinement with the bacterias. If the bacterias are produced and cleaning process is done in the treatment facility, the facility is called as the treatment facility and the obtained water can be re used. This water is repressed into the drinking water line. The costs of such kinds of facilities are very high. It is a luxury investment for the settlements having sufficient drinking water sources.
The alternative of such facilities is the nature itself. When the pre-refined sewage water is given to the sea; malodors form on the seasides. Water cannot be cleaned in a fast way. The reason for that is the high concentration of the waste water and insufficient oxygen for which the bacterias cannot show activity. Thus in order to have the waste water diluted, it is delivered to the sea flow. When the given water quantity becomes diluted inside the sea, the bacterias can show activity and the water can be cleaned naturally. Sea discharge pipes are the pipes which actualize this method.
The pipes are produced with the length of 11.80 mm. They are located on the base flow direction of the sea from the treatment facility. These products are combined with the extrusion or electrofusion sources. The mouths of the pipes to be furnished to the sea are closed with metal flanges. When the pipe is added with welding, it is pulled inside the sea by attaching concrete weights on it. Because the density of polyethylene is less than the density of water and it consists of air; our pipe swims on the water. When it arrives to the last point of the route; the valve on the flange is opened and it is provided to have water take the place of air. By this way, the pipe gets heavy and locates on the surface of the sea. After performing the land connection, the product comes into action.
This product is a survival source for our cities which are next to the seaside. The sewage pollution on the sea sides of our cities such as Istanbul, Alanya, Antalya and İzmit are refined by the projects in which these products are used.
The product is produced on large cylinders as mandrels. The polyethylene raw material is stripped in the extruder machine. These stripes are coiled on the mandrel and a pipe form is given.
The product is produced in different forms according to the extruder welded and electo fusion welded coupling. It does not have any fitting necessity, air conditioning funnels are used at the fitting points. The products are produced according to a 0.5 bar operation pressure.
