WIMADouble Wave Sword Washing

SHARE

Double wave sword washing. Maximum performance, optimal cleaning. WIMA`s double shaft sword washer offers a high-precision solution for separating clay, clay and wood from gravel and recycled material. “Double shaft” because two shafts rotate in opposite directions and “sword” because a large number of sword-shaped sheets are arranged in a spiral along the shaft axis.

The swords have two functions: on the one hand, they break up the feed material mixture through friction and separate the (clay, clay, wood) adhesions from the feed material. On the other hand, the blades transport the material mixture through the laundry by rotating.
The two shafts work in opposite directions and are synchronized via a toothed belt. Their distance is chosen so that the swords interlock. At the same time, the distances between the blades between the shafts define the grain sizes to be processed.

The third part of the name “laundry” says it all; water is used here. The water flows in the opposite direction to the conveying direction of both waves. It washes out the separated clay, clay and wood components.

In order to further improve the cleaning result, an upflow device is provided at the bottom of the laundry. Water flows in from below and carries clay, clay and wood with it.
