Dragon MachineryDischarge Conveyors for Industrial Shredders

SHARE

Dragon discharge conveyors are engineered to work seamlessly with Dragon`s industrial shredders, featuring a brush sealing system around a chute complemented by conveyor belt sidewalls. This combination ensures efficient product transfer by minimizing material loss during transit. The standard discharge conveyor begins with a horizontal section fitted under the shredder screen, followed by an inclined section that can be customized to the user`s required drop height, allowing for versatile applications such as discharging into skips, bulk bags, or containers. Dragon Machinery also offers bagging units for handling bulk bags with options for manual or automatic changeover. In addition, the company manufactures a range of other conveyors, including scraper, cross transfer chain, log hauls, diabolo, and flat or inclined belt conveyors, catering to various material handling needs in industrial environments.

Production of high quality shavings from round logs (1-6 tonnes/hr depending on model) suitable for animal and poultry bedding. Manufactured in the UK by Dragon Machinery Ltd.

The Blue Diamond shavers are available in a range of sizes with twin and single logbox chain drive versions and Mini/Mini Max hydraulically driven options

The BLUE DIAMOND Shavings Machine comprises one or two log holding boxes which travel back and forth over the top of the cutterheads, one or two under each box depending on model. Shavings are produced by the planing of the logs; the specification of the shavings being influenced by the speed of the log box and the setting of the knives in the cutterhead rotors as well as by the species and condition of the logs. The Blue Diamond shavers now incorporate a semi-automatic belt tensioning system on the rotor motors and a new, innovative blade setting system.

The shavings are discharged below the cutterheads, where they are ready to be collected and removed by means of a discharge conveyor or air extraction, either of which can be supplied. In the larger chain driven models the log holding boxes are driven through a differential gearbox linked to heavy roller chains attached with shock absorbing cushion assembly to ensure smooth travel. The log holding boxes are most commonly loaded from a central position with an operator loading the logs from a log haul chain or a central log deck. Fully automatic log loading systems can also be provided.
