Saur - Model CARBOFLUX -Drinking Water Plant
CARBOFLUX is a patented process designed to address the operating constraints of water types that are difficult to treat, such as water from lakes or reservoirs that are highly eutrophic and chronically polluted with pesticides.
Compact and efficient biological process based on the Sequencing Batch Reactor.
Surface waters, such as lakes and reservoirs, are often eutrophied and laden with pesticides. These waters present unpredictable pollution peaks. Treating them therefore becomes a major challenge in guaranteeing high-quality drinking water.
Drinking water regulations are increasingly stringent, especially regarding pesticides and treatment by-products. Clean water must be guaranteed without converting pollutants into toxic residues. This calls for a safe, proven, and reliable process.
It is important to eliminate both micropollutants (pesticides, drug residues, hormones) and biodegradable organic matter. Some compounds, such as glyphosate, are difficult to capture by adsorption alone. A combination of treatments with our technology CARBOFLUX® is therefore a solution.
We know cost control, combined with consistent performance, is a key concern. CARBOFLUX® offers low consumption of activated carbon and energy, along with minimal maintenance requirements. In addition, our process automation supports efficient operation without overloading the system.
