The Ultrefiner II is RainSoft’s premium drinking water system. Its multistage process can transform your kitchen tap into a source of exceptionally delicious, purified water.
When you have an Ultrefiner II system installed in your home, you’ll notice a dramatic difference in the flavor of your drinking water that also extends to beverages and soups that are prepared with it. This system is installed under the kitchen sink and uses three high-quality multistage filters to purify tap water and address virtually any drinking water concern. It’s available in a number of different configurations and offers potential cost-saving benefits when compared to other systems on the market. - Water from the inlet valve enters the system.
- Water is forced through the pre-filter cartridge that reduces particles, chlorine, taste and odor.
- Water then enters the Ultrefiner II membrane cartridge where it is filtered through a spiral wound, semi-permeable membrane.
- The resulting highly filtered water enters a storage tank.
- Your reverse osmosis water is finally filtered through the system post-filter and dispensed through a dedicated drinking water faucet.
The Ultrefiner II system uses reverse osmosis technology to filter extremely small particles, particles that can easily slip through a less sophisticated filter.
The Ultrefiner II is installed with a contemporary, lead-free RainSoft faucet offered in either brushed nickel or chrome to accommodate any home décor.

When filter replacement is needed, only the cartridge requires disposal, unlike other systems that require full canister disposal.
The Ultrefiner II has been certified for performance standards by NSF International and the Water Quality Association.
