TanFlow - Drum Screen
The externally fed TanFlow drum screen is characterized by its robust and simple design, as well as the small footprint, which also allows it to be used in confined spaces. It is used wherever it is necessary to separate large flows of liquids from solids; regardless of whether it is an industrial or municipal application. Even oily and greasy media can be separated.
The process or waste water is fed through an inlet chamber onto the screen drum surface. The liquid first flows through the drum from the outside to the inside. The solids that are larger than the selected gap width are deposited on the surface. The even rotation of the drum transports them to a scraper, which gently separates the solids. After separation, the cleaned liquid flows back through the drum from the inside to the outside and flows out through a discharge nozzle.
