Leybold - Model ECODRY Plus -Dry Multistage Roots Vacuum Pumps
The multi-voltage, high-speed, contact-free pumps with peak pumping speeds from 25 up to 55 m3/h have been specially designed for use in applications requiring short pump down times, low noise, low vibration, and no particulate generation such as analytical instruments, research laboratories and light industrial processes.

These vacuum pumps are based on the multi-stage roots pumping principle with two rotors turning in opposite directions in a single pump housing. The rotors do not get into contact with one another, or with the pump housing making them both quiet and clean pumps.
Through their rotation, they convey the gas from the intake flange on the upper side to the outlet aperture on the bottom of the pumping chamber. Several pumping stages are arranged in series to achieve a high compression ratio.
The pump’s operating range extends from the medium vacuum range to ambient pressure. Short channels between the compression stages, combined with a very high rotational speed, enable a compact package with high pumping performance. The pumping chamber is oil-free allowing clean vacuum generation.
