Blowtech - Dry Scrubber
Dry Scrubbers are pollution control equipment used to remove contaminated particles from gaseous exhaust streams. This scrubber comprises a converging section, a throat (the narrowest part of the venture tube) and a diffuser. The gas/dust mix flows through the Venturi tube and reaches top speed in the throat section. Afterwards, the mixture passes into the diffuser where the speed drops again. Liquid is added to the gas flow either in the throat section or earlier to it. Concentrated mixing takes place between the liquid and gas in the throat section of the vent tube. Due to the high speed realised by the gas and liquid, water is released in fine water droplets.
