Operating Principle
The dust-laden air either enters the funnel-shaped discharge directly via the air inlet nozzle or enters the filter unit via a separate pre-separation chamber. Due to the loss of speed when entering the device, the coarse particles fall directly into the dust collection container. The fine dust, on the other hand, is conveyed to the filter elements by the air flow. While the air is sucked through the filter elements, the dust particles stick to their surface. During and after the end of operation, a compressed air operated backwash system ensures the cyclical cleaning of the filter elements. Compressed air pulses from a compressed air tank are fed into the interior of the filter elements via diaphragm valves and nozzle pipes via a cycle control.
