Dust Extraction System
Extraction Solutions provide bespoke, engineered dust extraction systems. Our systems currently provide a safe working environments for thousands of employees in industries such as kitchen manufacture, composite door manufacture, and wood recycling. Our goal is to provide our customers good quality, energy efficient LEV systems and great customer service.
We design our systems to be easily manageable and many system functions can be automated. We also aim to reduce the need for on going maintenance and ensure that we install the most energy efficient solution possible. Our Cyclofilter has no internal moving parts which dramatically reduces potential failures. Alternatively for the ultimate energy efficient solution, we have a range of filters with a unique cascading fan system. This design automatically starts or stops the in built fans depending on the how many machines are required.
Our dust extraction systems are designed with safety in mind. All products and installations comply with the current legislation set out in the ATEX regulations
We design systems to be energy efficiency which not only puts money back in your pocket by reducing running costs, but reduces your impact on the environment
Our aftercare team is made up of experience extraction engineers that remain available to help with any questions you may have once your installation is complete
Our systems provide a clean, dust free work environment. We add protective elements to ensure the health and safety of your employees is never compromised
Maintenance is important to the smooth running of dust extraction equipment, so our design process ensures that extraction systems are easy to maintain
Visit & Consultation
One of our experienced engineers will discuss your requirements and talk you through the various options for your new extrication system
Using the information gathered on site our engineers will design your new energy efficient extraction system, and will keep you informed during the design process
Installation of the new system will be organised to limit downtime, the new plant will be fully commissioned before training and final handover
Once the installation is complete our aftercare team will take care of any further requirements you have including service contracts and ongoing maintenance
Among the many reasons to improve or replace an extraction system, first and foremost should be exposure of employees. Extraction systems should control dust breakout ‘as far as reasonably practicable’ and ensure that exposure is kept below the workplace exposure limit (WEL). Removing dust not only improves air quality it lowers fire risk and reduces build up of dusts around integral machine parts.
Another important consideration is health and safety. Extraction systems handling potentially explosive materials should to adhere to ATEX regulations. This sets out the minimum safety aspects a system should have to reduce or remove risk to life and property in the event of an explosion. All systems installed after July 2003 should follow these guidelines.
Improving your LEV systems not only benefits your employees health and safety, it can also increase productivity and the quality of your finished product. Time spent fault finding or repairing equipment affects production. Similarly, poor dust removal can leave a poor finish on work pieces meaning more re-works or do-overs.
