Like E2SE HC672, E2SE HC591 demulsifies water‐in‐oil emulsions and finds usage in separation processes in the oil industries. Also, it is well equipped to treat cutting‐oil concentrates and ship‐slops. Due to its stability, it can be injected directly from the drum. Sometimes, this chemical can be pre‐diluted with a suitable aromatic solvent to achieve optimal mixing. The optimum dosage, temperature, extent of mixing and settling time should be determined for cost effective operation.
