EcoGenR8 - Pasteurisation Process of Biosolids
Our pasteurisation process is energy optimised and designed specifically to thermally treat biowastes and biosolids.
Pasteurisation is a thermal process which reduces or eliminates the presence of pathogens to produce a treated bioresource product that is compliant with the stringent requirements of the water industry.
Our proprietary design is based on direct experience of commissioning, operating and optimising pasteurisation performance; therefore we are confident that we offer the best available pasteurisation solutions to the organic waste treatment market.
Applied upstream of anaerobic digestion facilities, our pasteurisation system is a highly energy efficient process suitable for meeting the highest regulatory standards for sewage sludge, biowaste, or co-digested wastes. In addition, the pasteurised sludge enables the throughput of existing digesters to be increased, boosting biogas production and increasing the revenues generated by that biogas.
We are confident that we offer the most energy efficient solution on the market – heat is recycled at every stage of the process, thereby minimising external heat inputs – crucial for all energy generating plants. Our process provides the optimum solution to balancing cost, energy efficiency and digester performance with the need to comply with the Animal By-Product Regulations (APBR) for biowaste, or to produce an enhanced treated product in accordance with the Safe Sludge Matrix.
