Ecostar - Model HEXACT -Stationary Disc Screen
Hexact is the stationary disc screen with a modular structure, designed for those in need of high performance, compact dimensions, and limited energy consumption.
Thanks to DDS (Dynamic Disc Screening) technology, Hexact is able to screen materials faster (1 m/sec), using less space, and reaching a productivity level of up to 200 t/h. Revenue from the sale of recycled materials can be increased thanks to the unique characteristics of this system. The top quality of its components and assembly procedures, exceeding market standards by far, guarantees maximum reliability and a reduction in maintenance costs.
The efficiency of DDS (Dynamic Disc Screening) technology allows the installation of low power 7.5 kW electric motors for every 4 linear meters of screen. Hexact is built with high quality materials and can be configured with different disc sizes to screen any type of material: car ?uff, SRF (Solid Recovered Fuel), biomass, compost, construction and demolition debris, incinerator ash, municipal solid waste, organic waste, paper and cardboard, PET, aggregates, tires and recycled wood.
Modulary systemThe length of the Hexact screen starts at 2 meters and can be supplemented with additional 2 or 3 meter modular sections. This system makes it possible to proportion the machine’s performance according to the needs and the available space.
The Ecostar stationary screen separates waste and recyclable materials in different sizes, as well as from other materials, and transforms them into resources that can be put back on the market. This process contributes to the circular economy, and avoids costly disposal in landfills.
Ecostar screening solutions are equipped with hexagonal or octagonal discs with a flat profile on which the material flows. Thanks to this structure, the materials are accurately separated. Ecostar stationary discs can be employed to recover materials from large landfills or in recycling lines dedicated to specific materials.
Ecostar screening machines can work both independently and in line with shredders based on the type of material to be treated and the objective of the industry operator. Ecostar stationary screens can be used by private companies, municipalities, or manufacturers of waste disposal plants.
Today Ecostar stationary screens are present globally and treat a wide variety of materials such as organic waste, municipal solid waste, compost, wood, biomass, CSS (Secondary Solid Fuel), C&I (Commercial and Industrial), tires, PET and plastic, and paper and cardboard at high precision.
Moreover, thanks to the patented Ecostar technology and the modular system, which allows the screens to be adapted according to operators’ needs and available space, the Ecostar stationary screens can work low, medium, and high productions up to 200T/H, while keeping the energy consumption low thanks to the 7,5 kW motors.
The efficiency of Dynamic Disc Screening technology enables the use of 7.5 kW electric motors for outputs of 20 t/h and energy savings of up to 70% compared to traditional screening technologies.
Hexact is able to screen materials faster (1 m/sec), using less space and reaching productivity levels up to 200 t/h.
Thanks to the smaller space required compared to traditional screening technologies, Hexact enables a reduction in investment costs (space, conveyor belts and steel structures) by up to 300%.
