ECSActivated Carbon Media

SHARE

Centaur is an activated carbon media produced to treat foul air from wastewater and sewage treatment processes. The carbon is a granular media derived from bituminous coal. H2S removal capacity of the media can be restored simply by washing with water. No chemical impregnates are used in the production of the media nor are any required to regenerate the media.

Minimum H2S Breakthrough Capacity:

  • Maximum Moisture Apparent Density
  • Minimum Butane Activity
  • Minimum Hardness Number
  • Minimum Iodine Number
  • Maximum Ash Content
  • H2S removal capacity can be restored with water washing
  • Free of chemical impregnates, removes risk of bed fires
  • Organic capacity is equal to or greater than impregnated carbons as well as other coal-based carbons
