ECS - Pilot System
Pilot facilities are a great tool that Engineered Compost Systems use to gain first-hand knowledge on the response of actual feedstock to ECS’s compost technology. A variety of technology and process options can be tested with an ECS pilot including: pile formation (discrete or extended bed), air supply rate, air direction (positive, negative, reversing), mix recipe, moisture, static or turned, and retention time. The pilot facility is built at a scale large enough to ensure accurate comparisons with a full facility, but at a dramatically reduced cost. Built with flexibility in mind, the pilot can be reconfigured multiple ways until the best balance of performance and cost is achieved.
