EDDY - Amphibious Excavator Dredger
Combine an Amphibious Excavator Undercarriage with an Excavator Mounted Dredge Pump Attachment to make a real Super Dredger. This is much more cost effective VS traditional dredges. The amphibious excavator is adapted for use in wetlands, swamps, and other challenging terrain, making it highly effective where standard equipment cannot operate.
Amphibious Excavators are the perfect tool for hard to reach marsh, swamp and shallow water dredging projects. Pontoon undercarriages also called amphibious undercarriage make this possible.
Swap the factory excavator undercarriage with a floating amphibious undercarriage and go further. The lightweight design and low ground pressure of the undercarriage make it the right equipment for sensitive wetland and marsh projects. Next, add the EDDY Pump dredge pump attachment to create a mobile swamp dredger. This powerful combination of equipment is mobile, less expensive to run and creates more ROI for your project.
The Excavator Dredge Pump Attachment. This state of the art dredging system is unique to the market. It improves the process for high solids pumping while using the hydraulic power of your existing excavator. The EDDY Pump Excavator Attachment easily pins into your existing bucket linkage and is powered off of the excavators’ auxiliary hydraulics. OR use an HPU for 8-10 inch models.
For large rocks and long distances, an HPU (Hydraulic Power Unit) is highly recommended for max production. Our excavator barges are also helpful for complex projects. Call for details.
