JET - Model EADS -Efficient Ammonia Desulfurization
JET’s sister company, JNEP in China, initiated the research and development of the EADS service in August 1998 and has successfully addressed the ammonia slip and aerosol issues, which has been the key technical challenges of the ammonia-based desulfurization process. JNEP licensed technology behind the EADS service to JET in 2014.
The 4th generation of EADS service is capable to meet the most stringent air quality regulations in the world at significantly lower lifecycle cost. The EADS service delivers a 25-35% reduction in operating costs with no additional carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.
The EADS service generates no wastewater, which complies with the EPA’s mandated ELG. Additionally, EADS service produces no solid waste streams, while generating a saleable ammonium sulfate fertilizer by-product.
