Beach Bouncer is a royal blue, heavy-duty polyvinyl chloride (PVC) floating barrier with a 3 ft / 0.9 m mesh skirt hanging from a 12 inch / 0.3 m float. It features a stainless steel load carrying cable above and below the floatation and a heavy, galvanized chain ballast at the bottom of the skirt. This deflection boom is specially designed to keep Sargassum seaweed and other types of floating debris off the beaches and at sea so that it can be carried away with the current.
