Elcometer - Blast Hoses
Available with a maximum working pressure of 12 or 15bar (174 or 217psi), Elcometer`s versatile Blast Hose range ensures the highest levels of safety and efficiency across a wide variety of abrasive blasting projects.
Flexible, anti-static, lightweight and tough, Elcometer`s range of two ply Blast Hose is suitable for all common abrasive media types.
Supplied in hose lengths of 40m (131ft) and compatible with a range of accessories, including Blast Hose cutters and Blast Hose extensions, the range allows you to prepare your hose to suit your application.
Our standard hoses, rated at 12bar (174psi), are ideal for a wide variety of blasting projects and available with five internal diameters, ranging from 13mm (½") to 38mm (1½").
For customers using Elcometer Performance HP Blast Machines, we offer 15bar (217psi) hoses which come in 32mm (1¼") or 38mm (1½") internal diameters. The unique high pressured capabilty of these hoses ensure they delivery ultimate productivity when working on large scale contracts.
To prevent operators from harm, the burst pressure safety margin of all of our Blast Hoses are three times greater than their maximum working pressure.
1) Tough Outer Cover
Manufactured using abrasion resistant and anti-static natural & styrene-butadiene rubber with a cloth impression, the tough weather resistant cover prolongs the life of the hose.
2) 2 Ply Braid Reinforcement
Elcometer’s blast hose features highly woven cord linings in a 2 ply cross pattern to improve hose strength and allow flexibility.
3) Anti-Static & Abrasion Resistant Inner Wall
The Elcometer blast hose is manufactured out of natural and styrene-butadiene rubber compound with carbon black, has an abrasion resistance value of 50mm³ in accordance with DIN53516 and has an anti-static rating (R) of R
