Using DSP circuitry, the e-Q2B fire engine siren amplifier accurately reproduces the trademarked “Q” wail rather than relying on a simple digital recording. DSP also enables the product to function manually or automatically for hands-free operations (Electric Horn Ring Transfer). The Class D engineered system reduces operating current to 20 A, providing a more robust, reliable system.

The push-button backlit switches and robust rubberized knob provide a tactile feel to easily activate fire truck siren sounds, air horn, PA, and radio rebroadcast. In addition, the detachable push-to-talk microphone can be easily removed and replaced with a customized plug. Volume control for the microphone is located directly on the keypad for added convenience.

Three external inputs allow externally configured foot switches to control the manual wail, brake, and electric air horn.
