Primary - Electric Grinders
Rotochopper electric grinders combine seamlessly with our hammermills to provide single-pass fine grinding solutions. Nothing beats the efficiency and simplicity of a hammermill for producing short-fiber commodities from pre-processed wood waste and ag residue. And nothing beats the versatility and precision grinding capacity of a Rotochopper grinder for processing diverse raw waste materials. When a hammermill pairs up with a Rotochopper grinder, you get the best of both worlds in one streamlined system.
Versatile Precision Grinding
Rotochopper electric horizontal grinders are available in a range of sizes and horsepower to work smoothly with our hammermills, and each model offers the same basic advantages:
- Steel slat infeed conveyor
- Aggressive powerfeed roller
- Gap-less infeed transition
- Slab Ramp adjustable shear plane
- Aggressive powerfeed roller
- Rotor, tooth, and screen options to match different raw materials
- Hydraulic screen changer
- Full-length collection conveyor
- Choice of discharge conveyor styles
- Discharge and infeed dust hoods (optional)
- Magnetic head pulley (optional)
- Magnetic cross-belt conveyor (optional)
Electric Advantages
Rotochopper electric powered grinders are trusted across a wide range of industries for their uptime and precision grinding capacity. Designed for stationary operation with 3-phase power (not simply reconfigured from mobile diesel grinders), Rotochopper electric grinders are uniquely suited for integration into complete processing systems.
Uniquely Matched to Your Needs
The difference in size and horsepower between Rotochopper electric grinders lets us build a system around the volume and consistency of your raw materials with optimal horsepower efficiency. Each horizontal grinder is available with multiple discharge conveyor options to deliver coarsely ground fiber to the in-line hammermill. The conveyor(s) between the grinder and hammermill can be equipped with magnetic cross-belt conveyors, magnetic head pulleys, and plate magnets to deliver a metal-free material to the hammermill.
Turn-key Solutions
After raw material passes through the primary grinder, the in-line hammermill (or series of mills) effortlessly refines it to the required short fiber specifications. Simply load raw material into the primary grinder, and you get short fiber products out of the RMT hammermill—no additional handling or hassle.
