CW Mill - Model Hogzilla - 1200 -Electric Powered Grinder
Spanning over four decades, CW Mill Equipment Co., Inc. has been manufacturing electric powered grinders in addition to its diesel-powered units. CW’s 800 HP Electric HogZilla TC-1564SE is what experienced buyers are looking for today with increased efficiency, reduced maintenance, massive construction, simplicity, and steady mill RPM generating amazing production from its 46″ diameter, super-colossal, 12 pin, hammermill that has an 8-3/4″ main shaft.
Although CW offers many other sizes and configurations, the TC-1564SE models shown here are stationary units mounted onto a foundation.
Since transportation restrictions are not a concern, we are able to build a heavier duty equipped 15′ tub that is constructed from ½” thick steel. The tub floor is made of ¾” thick abrasion resistant steel, and the belly conveyor is 72″ wide.
Several thrown object restraint options are available, as well as a wide range of other options, including portability options for moving the grinder along with custom built motor controls enclosures.
- Heavy-duty stationary grinder frame with 8 ea. Leg stands
- 1ea Tub with 13ft. diameter flare and 11`diameter tub barrel constructed of 7gauge carbon steel equipped with a continuous sprocket around the perimeter for chain drive.
- 1ea Heavy duty tilting tub floor constructed with 1/4" thick floor plate. Shear bars tilt with floor for easy screen & mill maintenance.
- Floor to include tub-down limit switch and lock down pin.
- 1ea Drive System for tub drive with variable speed & auto forward/reverse
- 2ea 56 in. long grinding cylinder boxes each with a "CW" series hammer mill powered independently by 1ea 250hp 460 volt electric motor
- connected to the mill by a drive line. The motors are to be covered by sheet metal covers.
- "CW" series Hammer rod plates are to be 5/8 in thick.
- 400ea wear resistant tips, reversible, swing style hammers to be arranged in the two mills as needed. 192ea hammers installed in each mill with 16 each remaining as spare hammers.
- 2 ea. set (16) 1-1/4" hammer rods, heat treated
- 4 ea. set (2) screens with %" thick mats (specify hole size)
- 1ea Discharge hopper chute with auger
- 1ea Electric Powered Hydraulic system to be used for tub tilt.
