Hindon - Model LAM 30 inch -Electromagnetic Drum Brake
The LAM 30″ is a spring applied, electromagnetically released industrial drum brake. This electromagnetic brake fits brake drums with dimensions in imperial units (inches) and is designed according to steel mill standards (AISE N.11-63.120). The LAM brake is therefore an ideal “bolt in” replacement when upgrading existing braking systems in a steel mill environment. This brake is available in both 400 cycle/hour and 600 cycle/hour configurations. While commonly configured with shunts connected, this brake is also available in series connection.
