Elevator & Escalator

The Elevator & Escalator division of IEEMA was re-energized two years ago after a gap of more than 10 years. The division has made representation on numerous issues concerning the industry. The Division aims at working on the standardization uniform Lift Act at the national level. Currently, the division is making representation to Maharashtra State Govt. for proposed changes in fire evacuation lifts. The division is also deliberating and exploring actions to improve divisional membership and data compilation for market analysis.
