ELICA - Model K4 -Laboratory Gravity Separators for Material Testing
ELICA Laboratory Gravity Separators are essential tools in testing incoming material and efficiently monitoring the separation of particles based on similar size, shape, and specific weight. Utilizing the principle of gravity, these machines excel in separating small batches of rice, grains, seeds, and various cereals. A consistent lifting motion with a directional change causes a layering effect within the machine's compartments. This results in a clear distinction between products of differing specific weights, as lighter particles are directed to one outlet, while heavier particles are transported to another. This functionality is crucial for accurate assessments and quality control processes within laboratory environments, supporting a range of applications in the cereal industry.
ELICA Laboratory Gravity Separators are used for testing the incoming material and monitoring the process of separating particles with the same size, shape and similar specific weight. The ELICA lab series machines separate small batches of rice, grains, seeds and many other cereals by using the principle of gravity. There is a layering effect of the product within the compartments due to a consistent lifting motion with constant change of direction. The product with the lower specific weight floats and is transported to one outlet. The product with the higher specific weight exits the machine through the second outlet.
