Mat - Model Dy 70 ÷ 200 -Emergency Clamps
The emergency clamps for pipes are made for removal of damages (breakages, cracks, leaking or worn out gaskets) on pipelines with diameter from F ½” to F 720 mm for non-aggressive liquids, with a temperature of up to 60° and pressure of up to 16 atmospheres.All the metal parts of the clamps are made of stainless steel. This guarantees high strength and durability in cases of corrosion. The bolts have special grease, which protects them against scratching. The gasket is made of rubber mix EPDM (which is approved for contact with drinkable water) that keeps its flexibility and quality for decades.

The space where the clamps will be installed must be cleaned of solid contaminants. In case of an axial gap between the tubes of over 2 mm, the ruined edges must be handled with a file.
The location for the clamp installation must be selected so that the tightening is at a place with the least axial and angular displacement and is convenient for tightening bolts.
The clamp must be placed at the location, taking care not to fold the gasket. The buckle must be rotated with the help of the bolt attached to it, so that it is possible to turn the long bolt. The remaining bolts much be attached, the leading bolt must be unscrewed and placed like the remaining ones.
Uniformly, following that the buckles are moving simultaneously, all bolts on the clamp much be screwed with a standard key by effort of 12kgm per clamp with Dy – 150mm and 20kgm for Dy clamps with more than 150mm.
