Cleanup Stuff - Emergency Water Absorbent Kit
We don`t claim our Cleanup Stuff Water Absorbent Kit will soak up all of the water of a 100 year flood but it can help prevent window and door seepage during a driving rain storm or in a hurricane. The kit can help to prevent water damage to your garage dry wall or cabinets from melting snow. It can be used to handle those annoying basement leaks. If you need to divert water it can be used as a dike. Each kit can absorb around 5+ gallons of water so it might be prudent to have a few on hand for emergency leakage from a water heater, washing machine, dishwasher, toilet or sink.
Kit Contents
Two of our famous water absorbing Hurricane Socks (thousands sold over the last few years) and four of our new water absorbent Sookers pads. Absorbs approximately 5+ gallons of water.
Product Quality
The Cleanup Stuff Water Absorbent Kit is ready for immediate use. The exterior of both items is made of a heavy duty absorbent material. The Hurricane Socks are stitched at the seams and have a metal clip at each end for long wear and use. The Sooker pads have strong seams to hold up to constant use. The absorption material inside each product is 100% recycled poly material. No ground up paper filler like many products. The socks and Sookers have no chemical content. They leave no residue or white fluff and are not slimy when wet.
Uses
The Hurricane Socks are ideal for doorways, along walls or to use to surround a water leak to prevent it from spreading. Sookers can be used in tight spaces, around windows, to wedge in corners or to catch drip. The large surface of the Sooker speeds absorption and shortens the response time. Both products are flexible for a snug fit to prevent seepage. They can also be used as a draft stopper when dry to save on energy costs. Have on hand for emergencies.
Reusable and Drying Instructions
Our Hurricane Socks and Sookers can be dried and used over and over. To dry, simply place them in the spin cycle of your washing machine for a few minutes to wring the excess water out and then use again immediately or let air dry to dry out completely. Hand wash if they become soiled.
If the filler feels clumpy after drying, simply break it up. Driving vehicles over the Hurricane Socks or Sookers is not recommended.
