Empas - Model MCB-E -Hot Water Unit
The MCB-E is a hot water unit with 72V electric drive and, optionally, gas (propane). These units are extra durable and quiet. These machines are specially designed for hard to reach places. These units are ideal for playgrounds, care facilities, petting zoos, cemeteries, schools, narrow passages and tree pits. The MCB gives you an environmentally sound way to keep hard to reach places weed-free.
As an autonomous machine, the MCB-E can be used in various ways. The machine makes use of the electric vehicle`s 72V traction battery. Maintenance of the machines couldn`t be easier. Thanks to the generous canopy, all vital parts are easily accessible. The technical experts at Empas build the machines using standard hot water system parts, so service and maintenance are simple.
The MCB-E is equipped as standard with a 550- or 800-litre water tank in combination with an electric truck, as shown. An 800- or 1000-litre water tank is also an option, depending on the load capacity of the vehicle you choose. The filling pump and the filter system make it possible to fill the tank with surface water within minutes. The plunger pump is fitted with a pressure regulator/unloader. An electric motor drives the complete MCB-E. All units have a stainless steel spring-retractable reel with a 20-metre hose. The standard package of the MCB-E includes a spray gun with lance and watering head.
The MCB-E heats the water to 102 °C and works pressure-free for weed control. The standard pressure for cleaning is 55 bar, but you can also choose the high pressure option (up to 150 bar) for pressure cleaning.
