Ensenso - Model B Series -3D Cameras
Ensenso B Series 3D cameras are designed to provide exceptional performance in compact spaces, catering to precise industrial applications. Featuring a stereo vision system with two 5 MP Sony image sensors, these cameras produce high-resolution stereo images ideal for detailed 3D point cloud generation. Its robust IP65/67-rated aluminium housing and integrated electronics make it particularly versatile for use in rugged environments, such as robotics. The Ensenso B's compact design measures just 120 x 56 x 104 mm and is equipped with fully integrated optics, enabling object distance measurement starting from 21 cm. This series supports a wide range of operational depths up to 2 meters, with an impressive field of view and depth accuracy of 0.1 mm at short distances. The projector in the system uses advanced FlexView technology, improving 3D data quality for both stationary and dynamic objects. The Ensenso SDK facilitates easy setup and enhanced 3D data processing using GPU-based techniques.The Ensenso B is the most recent development in the Ensenso camera series. Specially developed to meet the requirements of our customers, the 3D camera impresses with outstanding performance at short object distances. It combines the advantages of all previous Ensenso series in an extremely compact and robust housing. These features make the Ensenso B the ideal choice for applications in the robotics sector where precision and reliability are required in a small space.
The fully integrated optics with a short focal length allow use of the two 5 megapixel stereo cameras from an object distance starting at 21 cm. Even at this short distance, the Ensenso B covers a large field of view of 30 x 26 cm and produces depth values with an accuracy of approx. 0.1 millimeters. The lenses in the B series allow working distances of up to around 2 meters.
The Ensenso B also impresses with its high depth of field, which ensures that objects in the working area always remain in focus and in perfect clarity, even at varying distances. This feature supports the high 5 MP resolution of the stereo camera and enables outstanding image quality, which is essential for demanding applications.
The sophisticated design of the Ensenso B combines compact dimensions of just 120 x 56 x 104 millimeters in a housing protected by IP65/67, making the camera particularly space-saving and robust. The integrated electronics and the closed design simplify cabling considerably, which means that the Ensenso B works reliably even in challenging environments, for instance when used on a robot arm.
