Ensol solar collector type ES2V/5,23 is designed for heating service water and swimming-pools through a heat exchanger, supporting central heating as well as generating process heat. Large surface solar collector ES2V/5,23 is ideal for use in large solar installations. The main part of a large surface collector is a copper sheet covered with a high selective eta plus coat with an active surface of 4,71 m2. The sheet ensures a high level of solar radiation absorption, which results in obtaining high efficiency of the energy conversion process. The absorber’s plate is connected by means of ultrasonic welding with the meandric copper tubes system, in which the medium circulates. Meander absorber ensures a steady heat removal through the circulating medium. Heat losses were minimized by application of lower and lateral insulation made of mineral wool of low heat conduction. It is possible to connect up to 10 solar collectors ES2V/5.23 in parallel in one field. Large surface flat collectors with prismatic glass have certificate of compatibility with DIN EN 12975-2:2006 norm conducted by TÜV Rheinland Immissionsschutz und Energiesysteme GmbH and Solar Keymark certificate.
