Enviro - Polyethylene Landfill Cover Film Technology

To begin the Enviro Cover deployment process, a landfill site uses its landfill ancillary equipment to load a roll of Enviro Cover film and onsite ballast material onto the Enviro Cover Deployer. Then the deployer driver positions the equipment at the area that needs cover and begins the deployment.

In the process, Enviro Cover film is unrolled from the deployer while ballast material is simultaneously discharged at a controlled rate to securely anchor the Enviro Cover film onto the working face. After completing a panel, the deployer driver re-positions the equipment adjacent to the deployed panels and continues to deploy the next panel.

An overlap is created between the Enviro Cover panels during the deployment process. The ballast material deposited on the Enviro Cover film creates a compression seal at the overlap. As a result, the deployed film forms a continuous closure and impermeable barrier between the waste and the surrounding environment.

This procedure is repeated until the working face is completely covered.
