Schumann - Epoxy Coated Storage Tanks

The continuous technical development of the steel bolted tank industry has prompted Schumann Tanks to extend our portfolio with epoxy coated steel tanks. Compared to glass coated tanks, epoxy coatings have been introduced into the market as an alternative to certain storage applications. The powder epoxy coating process is a newer application process with a lower cost compared to other materials. The liquid protection (inside of the tank) is done with a dual total 250µm thick epoxy layer, whilst the external top coat is a polyester coat with a high UV resistance. Like the glass coated sheets, we can offer different grades of epoxy coated steel (900 – 1100-1500 testing voltage).
