EPR - Spot Filter
The spot filter is characterized by a simple and functional design which allows a very easy installation on conveyors and bucket elevators. The built-on fan sucks air through the filter section mounted directly on the machine, and discharges the cleaned air through a pipe exhaust. The dust is separated on the outside of the filter bags, and drops into the product stream when the automatic cleaning system scavenges the filter bags. Change of filter bags is easily accomplished through the large inspection door. The spot filter is also available without a built-on fan, for connection to a large central fan.
The spot filter is a miniature bag filter which suppresses dust emission from machines and silos operating with dusty products. The filter bags are scavenged alternately by applying short compressed-air blasts from a non-relay electronic control.
