ESCO-LaborPiston Valve for Sampling in Liquid, Powder, and Granular Materials

SHARE
The ESCO Piston Valve is designed for the efficient removal of liquid, powder, and granular materials without creating dead space or interrupting processes. It utilizes a block flange to attach securely to tanks or pipes, providing a seamless integration. The valve functions by utilizing a piston that aligns flush with the container wall. When retracted manually or pneumatically, the lateral discharge nozzle is exposed, allowing for material to be discharged into a sampling container. This enables precise and controlled sampling, which is crucial in various industrial processes. The system is equipped with options for cleaning and sterilization through dedicated rinsing connections. Additionally, the valves are configurable and meet rigorous standards, including ATEX explosion protection. They are constructed from durable materials such as 316L stainless steel, Hastelloy C-22, and more, making them suitable for diverse environments with temperature ranges from -10°C to +200°C and pressure up to PN10.

Liquid, powder and granular materials can be removed quickly and easily without dead space and without interrupting the process using the ESCO PISTON VALVE for sampling.

The piston valve is screwed to the tank or a pipe using a block flange. The piston is flush with the container wall at the front. By moving the piston back, manually with a hand crank or pneumatically, the lateral discharge nozzle is released. The spout serves as an outlet or a sampling container can be fitted. The product sample flows or falls into this glass container, which can then be removed from the valve for further processing. The entire system can be cleaned or sterilised using special rinsing connections.
