ETIA - Model UPK -Cooling System
UPK is a continuous cooler for bulks, powders, granulates, pasty or muddy products. The cooling and heating function is accomplished through chilled water, steam or other thermal fluid passage into the screw and double jacket.
Unit can be delivered with air extraction in the top opening allows the control of the atmosphere conditions above the product: wet extraction, dried air injection…
Optional paddles fixed to the screw allow a perfect homogeneous treatment, mixing, conveying, and cooling or heating transfer.

Cooling screw conveyor UPK© creates a part of Biogreen© process by ensuring safe and efficient evacuation of solid product generated in the thermal conversion process. Unit is sized to convey and cool down the material exiting Spirajoule© chamber up to the stable temperature conditions that allow its further management.
