ExcellModel 6000 PC Series -Emulsion Polymer Feeder

SHARE

The EXCELL Series 6000PC Polymer Feeder provides the high energy needed to activate all types of liquid polymers. The metering pump is a progressive cavity type pump. The Series 6000PC activates the polymer through a patented motor-less activation apparatus. It injects the polymer into the dilution water stream and immediately makes the solution flow through a low pressure, high energy, polymer activation nozzle.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

  • The Series 6000PC feeder has a progressive cavity type metering pump. Pump has a stainless-steel body, a Viton lined stator, and a mechanical seal.
  • Pump can be controlled locally or by a remote 4-20 mA signal. Digital display indicates pump flow.
  • H-O-A Switch allows local or remote start-stop control.
  • The feeders operate with dilution water at 30 to 100 psi (2 to 6.9 Bar).
  • The strainer traps particles that could foul feeder components.
  • The solenoid valve, with a brass body, provides on-off control of water flow.
  • The water flow switch stops the polymer pump when the water flow is interrupted. A light provides local indication. Alarm contacts allow remote indication.
  • The self-cleaning sight tube allows the operator to see how the feeder is operating. The patented assembly is operated by the polymer solution as it leaves the feeder.
  • The frame is made of welded stainless steel.
  • The external injection valve is accessible without disturbing the activation apparatus. All components are modular and easy to access.
  • Operating voltage is 120 VAC. Power consumption is less than 10 Amps.

AVAILABLE OPTIONS

  • Other pump capacities as needed to meet your requirements.
  • Dilution water flow capacity up to 10,20,30 40,60, 80, 100, or 120 GPM.
  • Timer to allow a flush cycle.
  • Pump speed controlled by the dilution water flow. This maintains solution concentration.
  • Contacts for remote indication of Pump Run, or Auto Mode.
  • Low polymer flow alarm. The switch uses a thermal dispersion type sensor, with no moving parts. The trip point is adjustable down to 5 GPD (0.8 LPH).
  • In-line aging tank. Tanks have a polyethylene liner and are fiberglass reinforced. They are rated for 125 psi (8.5 Bar). No additional level controls or pumps are needed. Tank volumes of 20 to 80 gallons (75 to 300 liter) are available.
  • Voltages other than 120 VAC are available.
  • Custom designed to meet your needs.
Standard Features
  • An external polymer injection valve is accessible without disturbing the mixing apparatus. The valve spring is made of Hastelloy-C to minimize the possibility of stress corrosion cracking.
  • A solenoid operated valve turns the water flow on - off.
  • A switch monitors dilution water flow. It turns off the pump whenever the flow is interrupted. A light provides local indication that water flow has been interrupted.
  • An H-O-A switch allows local or remote Start-Stop control. The remote run switch is to be a dry contact. The feeder provides the 120 VAC to power the circuit.
  • A digital display indicates pump speed.
  • Pump speed is controlled manually or by a remote 4-20mA input.
  • The sight glass is self-cleaning. The patented assembly allows the operator to see how the feeder is operating.
  • Stainless steel frame. The frame is floor mounted.
Available Options
  • A one-gallon blending-aging tank improves polymer effectiveness.
  • A polymer strainer and a pump calibration cylinder, with isolation valves.
  • Pump cycle timer to allow pump feed rates below 0.3 GPD.
  • Timer to allow a flush cycle.
  • Pump speed controlled by the dilution water flow to maintain solution concentration.
  • Voltages other than 120 VAC are available.
  • PLC controlled.
  • UL508A control panel.
  • Custom designed to meet your needs.
