Our technology has been developed to recycle all solar photovoltaic panels mono-crystalline and poly-crystalline made with mono facial glass. The dismantling line for end of life PV modules separates glass, plastics, and metallic granulates, collecting also silicon powders.

Experia SOLAR RECYCLING SYSTEM is made by three steps:

EXPERIA SOLAR FRAMES is the machine that takes-off the aluminum frames and the junction-box from the PV panels.

EXPERIA SOLAR GLASS is the machine that allows to recover up to 90% of the glass of the solar panels. The glass is removed mechanically and gradually without contamination.

EXPERIA SOLAR GRIND is the machine that makes shredding and selection of the materials of the PV laminates.

The complete system allows to recover over 90% of the solar laminates.

Industry 4.0: It is possible to file all information about PV panels recycled like brand, model and serial number. In addition it is possible to record the energy consumption of the machine and the working time.

The automation is managed by industrial PC interfaced to PLC. The operators can control it by a touch- screen panel.

It is possible to monitor and check the machine by remote for assistance.

Solar panels treatment and recycling is not an easy job because the modules are made by multiple and different materials like:

  • Glass (the front cover of most PV panels);
  • Aluminum (external frames);
  • Plastic materials used to encapsulate the silicon cells: ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA), polyvinyl butyral (PVB) and/or polyvinyl fluoride;
  • Silicon solar cells;
  • Metals such as lead, copper, silver, etc...;

To recycle correctly PV solar panels it is needed to separate these materials with minimal damage and loss in order to re-use the materials for other industrial applications: CIRCULAR ECONOMY
