The Series 4239 In-Line Litho-Density Tool employs two focused density detectors to compute borehole compensated density in real time while logging operations are underway. It further utilizes a photoelectric reader to measure the amplitude of returning gamma pulses, allowing for direct lithology determination. This tool can differentiate between various rock types such as sandstone, limestone, dolomite, shale, and others, represented as an additional logging curve. It also provides caliper readings. The tool necessitates the use of the 4000 Stack Gamma Ray Tool Sub for required telemetry functions and is compatible with all other Express Stack™ Tools except the 4841(DIL). The tool is fully digital, supports quick automatic setup, possesses a unique tool identification, requires assembly at the well site, and can be customized to meet specific needs.
