From Acoustic Treatment
This type of silencer consists of a series of parallel baffles placed inside the smoke flue (exhaust or chimney) creating large contact areas that efficiently absorb medium and high frequency noises. Each baffle is made up of a layer of high density mineral wool, 50 to 350 mm thick (60 to 100 kg/m3), an anti-defibration fibreglass covering and a mechanical protection made of perforated steel plates..
- Excellent acoustic performance
- Mechanical durability
- Easy maintenance
This type of silencer is made up of an outer envelope in perforated steel, covered with fibreglass and a layer of high-density mineral wool. It is equipped with a central bulb that is also made of perforated steel and filled with mineral wool.
This creates significant absorbent surfaces. The device is easily inserted in a section of an exhaust or chimney. The bulb can be removed for cleaning, or replaced if needed.
- Excellent acoustic performance at medium and high frequencies
- Compact size
- Easy installation and maintenance
- Reduced pressure losses
