This Corer system is available with an automatic trigger and hydrostatic safety release systems.
The primary advantage of this integrated system is that it can be mobilised rapidly, eliminating the need for an A-frame on the vessel, and allowing for a more efficient deployment and recovery process.
The FT518 Combined Piston Corer LARS is a modular piece of equipment that allows for the deployment and recovery of the Piston Corer, Gravity Corer and Autodrop.

Feritech corers combines operational safety with survey efficiency and reliability. Using our range of corers provides improved recovery and less disturbed sediment sample, yields a higher quality result compared to that of a standard gravity corer.
The removable weights allow the unit to be configured for the optimal penetration depending on ground type and requirements. All consumables for these coring devices are standard across the range and can be interchanged with our vibrocorer and gravity systems, ensuring minimal consumable storage required on board the vessel for multidisciplinary surveys.
All our systems work out of the box and can be mobilised within hours onto your vessel ready to start work.
