Doubrava - Fiber Batch Feeder
Doubrava’s “Fiber Batch Feeder – FBF” guarantees absolute precision in the weighing and batching of fibers, and is used principally in the building material industry. The FBF’s compact design means that it can be employed even in constrained spaces, while the ease with which the in-built “flex-container” can be switched out makes it possible to change quickly to different types of fiber without cleaning the unit first.
There are two standard variants of the “Fiber Batch Feeder – FBF”:
- As a batching unit with an interface for integration into plant control systems
- Integrated directly in plant control systems
The FBF can be filled from sacks or big bags. A rotary discharger batches the fibers, and the weight of the batches is measured by the integrated load cells. Once the desired weight is reached, the discharge funnel is sealed, which ensures a high degree of accuracy in batching. We offer our customers their own testing facility so that they can monitor the FBF’s output and accuracy.
