The HD well camera system is well suited for inspecting various reservoirs, shafts, pipes, tanks and other objects from the top down. It is equipped with a 45mm (1.77") diameter dual camera head enabling the operator to receive complete detailed images of the inspection area in one pass. The system is equipped with 2 HD cameras: one side view camera with 360-degree rotation right/left to provide thorough, informative footage of the sidewalls, and a downward camera with a fixed wide-angle lens to view the downhole. Both cameras are equipped with high resolution sensors and high-output long-lasting LED lights allowing you to capture bright and detailed images even in poor lighting. The downhole camera head housing is IP68 waterproof and withstands pressure up to 30 bars in freshwater (1000 ft).

The STRAHL Well Camera features a compact, splashproof control unit with a high-resolution 8" IPS LCD display. The inspection process can be viewed on the display right on-site, and files can be captured as snapshots or videos. All data can be saved on a USB flash memory. The user-friendly interface offers various operation features, for example, a USB wireless keyboard to type up comments on the inspection.

This system works with an 8mm diameter flexible twisted-pair cable which is 200m (656 ft.) long, that can be securely coiled on a manually operated reel. The reel allows you to wind the cable up and down and secure it in the desired position with the mechanical brake. Besides inspection findings, users can view the camera depth in the well on the monitor.

The whole set is light and compact which is extremely important for operators who have to climb multiple flights of stairs and conduct inspections in awkward spaces.

This downhole well camera works on a rechargeable Li-ion battery pack.
