The TRACER X5-300 sewer inspection robot system is a versatile inspection system for conducting inspections in sewer lines, underground structures, pipelines, and mainline drainage systems. Thanks to the design of the crawler system and interchangeable wheel system, the TRACER X5-300 inspection system can inspect pipes from 12" to 120" in diameter and up to 984ft (300M) in length. The rotatable camera head is attached to the centralizing camera riser and delivers high-definition footage to the separate monitor tablet. The crawler system is controlled via a remote joystick module that combines the speed, direction, light, and camera controls into one box. The configuration of the TRACER X5-300 consists of seven parts: sewer robot tractor, camera head, cable reel, display monitor, joystick control module, battery pack, and an accessories/tool kit.

The TRACER X5-300 is a crawler tractor with several different wheel sets that mount on the axles for inspecting pipes of different diameters. Six axles are powered by two 90W electric motors, and all six are used in smaller sewer pipe inspections, while the bigger wheels use only four. The crawler system has to be pressurized with a supplied pump before the operation to ensure water resistance.

Mounted on the camera riser is the high-definition pan and tilt camera head with LED lighting integrated into it, as well as additional lighting attached to the back of the camera. The camera head features 10x optical and 12x digital zoom, along with auto or manual focus functions.

The automatic cable reel houses 300M (984ft) of reinforced waterproof cable that provides the connection between the control module and the crawler tractor and transmits power as well as image signal. The tractor is controlled with the joystick control box and delivers footage to the separate display monitor for recording and evaluation.
