ZIND - Filter Layers
Depth filter sheets are a conservative technology for solid-liquid separation. The pore size range extends to bacterial retention, allowing sterile liquids to be produced (logarithmic retention up to LRV 8).
The depth filter sheets are available in various pore sizes, from coarse to fine-pored, and thus have a wide range of applications:
- biotechnology
- Enzymes
- Fine chemicals
- Beverages (beer, wine, spirits, juices, etc.)
- Cosmetics
- herbal extracts
- solvent
- Active pharmaceutical ingredients and intermediates
- Process water
- Inks, paints and adhesives
Whether square, rectangular, round, with or without holes or as a folded double layer: The depth filter sheets are available from us in different sizes and shapes.
For applications requiring high cellulase activity, cellulase-resistant layers are available (patent pending). Furthermore, the AF 15 and AF 71H types are also available as layers with extra-high zeta potential (AF 15S and AF 71S). The additional positive charge improves the adsorption of negatively charged particles, such as dye molecules.
