Filter PES - Polyethersulfone membrane

The FilterPES microfiltration cartridge has been developed and optimized for the Biological and Beverage industries for the filtration of high-purity liquids to assure product purity and biological stability. FilterPES is inherently hydrophilic and contains no added surfactants or wetting agents. Each cartridge is pre-flushed with ultrapure DI water, and 100% integrity tested during production.FilterPES greatest strength derives from the use of a mirrored polyethersulfone (PES) membrane with a narrow pore size distribution. This membrane produces a cartridge with high flow rates, long on-stream life, and consistent removal of micro-organisms and inorganic particulates. The FilterPES membrane is biologically inert, having low protein-binding characteristics. Bacterial retention is documented by the ASTM F838 05 challenge bacteria test.
