V&T - Model TRIPLO -Filter Systems
The “TRIPLO” filter is a different design based on existing filter systems like cartridge- and bag filters. The name “TRIPLO” already explains it`s purpose. The “TRIPLO” filter is one filter with three options: cartridge filter, bag filter and basket filter. Three possible filters in one and the same filter housing. It is often very difficult to know in advance which of the above filters one needs for a certain job. The “TRIPLO” filter makes it possible to adjust your choice later to a changed situation. By simply changing the internals one can produce different filter.
Sometimes bags gets blocked too fast. This means it may be a better option to switch to cartridges with a larger filter area.
Next to the multiple-choice system the “TRIPLO” filter also has a guaranteed sealing for micro filtration, because the fixation of the internals is not connected to the cover mechanism. It is a separate part of the system. The cartridgefilter operates up-flow and the particles are kept in the bottomside of the housing. Changing cartridges is no more than an easy operation, by moving the filter pack upwards on a center rod in the filter housing. The cartridges are removed to the sideways by pushing a spring while the filter pack is fixated by a restricting mechanism.
The basket- and bagfilter operate down-flow, so when the filter is switched from cartridge to bag one also has to switch the in- and outlet. The filterhouses can be also made duplex or with a double body.

Next to the heavy duty SS filterhousing V&T Group has a wide range of light duty filterhousing from the Unifilter, FSI eand Pentek (Ametek) program. These are low-priced and easy to operate, so ideal for light and simple applications. The filterhousing is made of SS our Plastic and are working on the basis of filterbags our filtercartridges. These need to be changed manualy and can be supplied by V&T Group.
The Unifilter program containes a large amount of simple SS filterhousings. From small 10” filterhousing for 1 filtercartridge , too big filterhousings for 72 or more cartridges. The bagfilters can carry , depending on the type 1 to 8 filterbags.
From the FSI program V&T Group has chosen the plastic X100 filterhouse. This filterhouse can work ( depending on the insert) with filterbags or filtercartridges. This in polypropylene made filterhousing are very lightweighted in there kind and is acid-resistant. Typical filterbags and filtercartridges are available from 1 to 800 micron.
V&T Filtergroup, has the complete Pentek (former Ametek) plastic single filterline in its programme. The plastic housing is available in length of 5”, 10”, and 20” with 3/8”, 1/2”,3/4”, 1” and 11/2” connections. The housing is made of polypropylene, styrene-acrilonitrile or nylon with glassfiber. The housing is FDA approved and can be delivered with a pressure relief button. The standard sealing is an O-ring of Buna-N, but on request we can supply viton, silicon or EPDM.
