The tank for rainwater collection, size ranges from 25gal(100L) to 250,000gal(1,000,000L), but mostly apply for rainwater harvesting is 25gal to 25,000gal(100L to 100,000L), even then, it’s still wide ranges, so the first we need to do is to figure out what size of rainwater tank you may need for your home or industrial site, here is our advices:
- considering the past rainfall data monthly and yearly, choose the biggest; as it’s an estimated data, not exactly, then it’s better to consider the size 10% bigger than this.
- measure the size you have to place the rain water tank, you can measure it directly or using Google Map to caculate it online.
It may be tricky to estimate the exact size of rainwater tank, as it’s hard to predict how often to rain in the future, but this way can help to assume a model and start the plan.
Pillow Tank is a type of flexible water tank, comparing with the steel or poly water tank, there is NO LIMITED on the space, then it can help to save more place for other purposes. Even the bladder tank uses the soft fabric mateiral, but it’s STRONG, using heavy duty PVC/TPU, flexible, but robust. At the same time, all corners and seams are reinforced to make sure the durability. The process of production follows the GJB4219A, 2013, military standard.
For different purposes, we use different mateials, no matter PVC or TPU all pass the tested by SGS; TPU meets the FDA, the food grade level. SAFETY is the thing we care the most.
Because the pillow tank is flexible, then it can be packed in small package, when empty, so the shipping cost(international or locally) can reduce a lot; for example, a 2500gal(1000L) tank can be packed in a 0.06m3 carton; and a 20GP container can load 500 units tanks.
